Fargo Moorhead Trails Counter

These counters are being deployed in conjunction with the Fargo Moorhead Trailbuilders to better understand trail usage across the region.

A PAX counter is a passive trail-use counter that tracks how many people pass a point on the trail. It helps provide a clear picture of how often trails are being used.

This usage data supports stronger grant writing and funding requests so trail organizations can secure resources to continue improving and expanding local trails.
